ABOUT TONG CHONG STREET MARKET

Co-presented by Taikoo Place and social enterprise Honestly Green, Tong Chong Street Market features everything from fresh farmers’ produce to creative dishes, cooking tips, and the latest food and beverage trends. It is a platform that encourages conversations about sustainable lifestyles for like-minded communities.

Each Sunday from November to February, the market is home to homegrown food stalls, unconventional packaged food vendors and local farmers, offering a sumptuous and exciting selection of creative food, high quality, dry, packaged, preserved and baked goods, as well as fresh seasonal organic fruits, vegetables and more.

WHAT'S SPECIAL THIS SEASON?
There will be three dedicated themes throughout the market period and vendors can select their preferred market dates for showcasing their food items that match with the theme best:
  • Coffee Festival – 4, 11, 18, 25 November 2018
  • Snowy Christmas – 9, 16 December 2018
  • Healthy Eating (vegan, plant-based) – 6, 13, 20, 27 January ; 10, 17 February 2019
BE A VENDOR
Vendor mix and rental scheme:
26 Featured Food & Beverage Stalls: HK$1,100 / day
10 Packaged Food Stalls: HK$900 / day
Vendors should match the criteria below to be considered:
  • •  Independent local business / start-up
  • •  With sustainable components to the business (i.e. selling sustainable food items / using sustainable tableware / sourcing local produce)
  • •  Have an innovative culinary offering


關於糖廠街市集

由太古坊及 Honestly Green 合辦的「糖廠街市集」集齊本地有機農產品、創意菜式、煮食小貼士和飲食潮流,並為大眾、本地創意食店以及農夫提供一個互動交流的平台。

每年11月至2月,各本地人氣矚目食店、創意包裝食品檔和有機農夫均雲集糖廠街市集;為大家提供現場即製市集限定美食、特色包裝食品和優質食材及時令有機蔬果等等。

本季特色
今季市集將有3個特別主題,檔主可根據售賣之食品與相關主題的聯繫性決定參與市集的日子:
  • 咖啡節– 2018年11月4、11、18及25日
  • 白雪聖誕 – 2018年12月9及16日
  • 養生有營飲食(純素、植物性飲食) – 2019年1月6、13、20、27日; 2月10及17日

食店與攤檔數目及租金:
26 個創意食店: 港幣1,100元 / 日
10 個特色包裝食品攤檔: 港幣900元 / 日
報名攤檔如符合下列條件將會在遴選過程中獲優先考慮:

  • •  品牌發展理念包含可持續發展之元素,例如: 售賣可持續發展食品 / 採用可循環再用餐具 / 以本地食材入饌
  • •  具備創意及嶄新意念之食品
